Hispanic explorers
If I was one of the hispanic explorers, I would've suggested that we approached the Zuni people in a more peaceful and less demanding manner. The commanding officer would have to agree to this and all the other soldiers would have to agree with us for if one revolts, the Zuni people may attack. The hispanic explorers took to too drastic measures when they came in contact with the Zuni people.

I agree - tact and good manners can go a long way to prevent conflicts, especially when meeting folks from a different culture.
