Red chile

My favorite New Mexican food is red chile. its so much better than green chile, and goes good on  any Mexican dish. red chile is dried and grilled green chile. once you dry the green chile peppers, you grill them till they turn red. then you grind the pods up and are used to make red chile power or red chile sauce. to make the sauce you want to mix the power in with flour, then add water to it and cook till hot. you could add different spices to it during the flour part if you want too.

  1. I too am a green chile person :) Both red and green chile were brought to New Mexico from Mexico so we should give some credit to our neighbors to the south for the chile-deliciousness :)
