After watching the video, you can see that Michelle Rodriguez, Linda Chavez, and Adrian Grenier had different views on their heritage. Miss Rodriguez and Miss Chavez took a big interest in learning about their roots and of where their ancestors came from . Miss Rodriguez was very open about telling her story to the public and by listening to her voice and her story, I can see that she has a lot of grit... She always was fond of her grandma and that's where she had learned a lot about her heritage; Miss Rodriguez always identified herself as being Hispanic because her ancestors probably struggled to try to identify themselves differently because of the prejudice society they lived in... But, tests showed that she had European and African blood inside her... Miss Chavez was just like Miss Rodriguez about being open and eager to learn, Miss Chavez dealt with a lot of racism in her life which led her to learn more about her life and heritage. Miss Chavez used to identify herself as European mainly until tests revealed she has both Middle Eastern and European blood in her. On the other hand, Mr. Grenier was scared about knowing where he really came from... Mr. Grenier had always identified himself as being 'Other' because he didn't really embrace his roots... Tests revealed he was actually Native American and Hispanic
If I was a famous guest on this show, I think I would find out a lot about myself because I've heard so many stories about my ancestors and where I actually come from so it would be fun to find out more about who I really am.
